- Arrive with clean, product-free skin.Â
- Discontinue use of retinol, exfoliants, or acids at least 3 days before treatment, and avoid waxing while on Accutane or within 6-12 months of stopping it.Â
- Gently exfoliate 24 hours prior to help loosen dead skin and reduce ingrown hairs.Â
For best results, hair should be at least 1/4 inch long - about the length of a grain of rice - to ensure effective removal from the root.
Waxing is not safe while using Accutane or within 6-12 months after stopping it. Retinol and other exfoliating products should be discontinued at least 3 days before your appointment to prevent skin lifting or irritation.
Some mild discomfort is normal, especially during your first treatment, but it becomes less noticeable with regular waxing. Our specialists use high-quality wax and advanced techniques to minimize sensitivity.Â
You can expect smooth, hair-free skin for approximately 3-4 weeks, depending on your individual hair growth cycle.Â
